Great batch-brewed coffee is all about ratio: weigh a true 1:16, use a medium grind and good water, and your drip machine will finally taste as good as a café pot.

Step by step
- Weigh 60 g coffee per 1 L water (scale to taste at 1:16).
- Use a medium grind and filtered water.
- Run the machine and make sure the whole bed gets evenly wet.
- Decant off the hot plate so it doesn’t scorch.
Tip: Most drip pots taste weak because they under-dose. Weigh your coffee to a true 1:16.
