Ratio 1 shot:8 oz · Fine grind · ~2 min · By the SteepDeals Editorial Team

An iced latte is espresso over cold milk and ice — pull the shot last and pour it over the top so it chills instantly without watering down.

Step by step

  1. Fill a glass with ice and add 6–8 oz cold milk.
  2. Pull a double shot.
  3. Pour the hot shot over the iced milk and stir.
Tip: Pull the shot last and pour over cold milk so it chills instantly instead of melting the ice.

For cold foam on an iced latte, a milk frother with a cold setting is the easiest way to get it at home.
