About Yemen coffee

One of the oldest coffee cultures on earth — coffee was first traded commercially through the Yemeni port of Mocha. Still grown on ancient mountain terraces in tiny quantities.

What it tastes like

Deep, wild and complex: dried fruit, chocolate, spice and a winey, almost fermented intensity. Rustic and unforgettable.

How it's grown & processed

Sun-dried on rooftops with heirloom varieties and almost no irrigation, producing rare small-lot coffees. Key regions: Haraz, Bani Matar, Sana'a.

Best way to brew it

Medium roast; wonderful as a rich filter or characterful espresso. New to dialing in your brew? Our brew calculator and recipe guides have you covered.

Try Yemen coffee

Fresh whole beans deliver the truest taste of the origin — grind right before you brew.
